Bittersweet Ski Trails
The Bittersweet Ski Trails are accessible from several starting points, the system includes approximately 20 km of classic and 14 km of skating trails that traverse prairie, woodland and river forest.  Bittersweet Ski Trail Information and Map.
Boyne Valley Trails

The project consists of a 2.5 km pathway in Treherne and a 1.5 km nature trail in the Boyne Valley on the east side of Treherne between highway No. 2 and the CPR line. The urban trail utilizes existing sidewalks while the nature trail is part grass and part covered with crushed stone. Two 80 ft bridges, one covered, cross the Boyne River.


Bowling & Billiards
The Treherne Bowling and Billiards is located at 216 Railway Avenue in Treherne.  They have two bowling alleys and 3 pool tables for your enjoyment.  Open from October to April.  For more information call (204) 723-2202.
 The Bowling and Billiards will be closed for the season as of March 18, 2020.

Treherne Delahunt Golf Course

The Treherne Delahunt Golf Course is a public 9 hole golf course. The greens are maintained in excellent shape and green fees are affordable. Carts and clubs are available for rent.  Phone:  (204) 723-2502.

Glass Bottle Buildings

The late Bob Cain, was the proud builder of a series of glass bottle structures located on his farm just north of town. It's been several years now since the whole adventure began, and visitors still come from far and wide to visit . In 2007 these structures were moved into Treherne to the corner park at Railway Avenue and Alexander Street.
Admission is by donation.

Treherne Aquatic Centre

Treherne Aquatic Centre is situated near the Cottonwood Campground.  The new (2006) Junior Olympic size heated pool, with beach front entry, lazy river and mushroom sprinkler are open for public swimming afternoons and evenings during the summer months. Swimming lessons are available. The pool closes usually before the end of August. Phone (204) 723-2150. Email:

Treherne Museum

The Treherne Museum offers you a marvelous variety of objects from early life in the area. The museum was left to the Town of Treherne by the late George Alexander (Sandy) Matchett in 1976 and was officially opened to the public in the summer of 1978.
