Age Friendly
Treherne formed an Age Friendly committee to promote and develop age-friendly initiatives throughout the community. The committee has conducted a community assessment and attended sessions regarding Age Friendly initiatives.
An Action Plan has been created and includes goals, objectives, activities, timing and other resources and target measures. To view the Action Plans click on links below:
The committee is always looking for volunteers to assist with projects and planning new initiatives. If you are interested in becoming a member or have an idea for the committee please contact the Municipal Office at 204-723-2044 and we will put you in touch with a committee member.
